PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY — ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION, NOT THE OFFICIAL TEXT
The AI Office may take the steps needed to monitor whether providers of general-purpose AI models comply with the AI Act, including their adherence to approved codes of practice. Downstream providers that build on such models may lodge a reasoned complaint alleging an infringement. That complaint must give the model provider's contact point, describe the relevant facts and rules breached, and add any other information the downstream provider considers relevant.
