euaicompliant.com is an independent reference for Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — the AI Act — as amended by the Digital Omnibus on AI. It exists because the answer to "what applies to us, and when?" changed in 2026, and most of what ranks for that question did not change with it.
Primary sources first. Every legal fact resolves to EUR-Lex and the Official Journal. The Act's structure on this site — all 113 articles, 180 recitals, 13 annexes, 68 defined terms — is parsed from the consolidated text (CELEX 32024R1689), not transcribed from secondary reading. Commission and AI Office material governs interpretation; law-firm analysis is used only to cross-check, never as the record.
The two-calendar rule. When the Omnibus moved a deadline, we store and show both dates — the new one, and the superseded one struck through. A compliance calendar you cannot audit is worth nothing, so superseded dates are never deleted.
Provenance on every fact. Each data view carries its source and a last-verified date. Records past their re-verification window render muted with "verify before relying" — they never silently present as current.
The official text is linked, never reproduced. Legal text on EUR-Lex is © European Union. Every summary here is original plain-language interpretation, clearly labelled as such, with a paragraph-level deep link to the authoritative wording. What you read here is interpretation; what you cite is the law.
Honest uncertainty. Where the record is genuinely unsettled — how many harmonised standards exist, which Member States have actually designated authorities, what the Omnibus's final OJ text will say — we publish the dispute rather than inventing precision. A published standard is not presumption of conformity; only OJEU citation grants that, and we track the difference.
Every dataset on this site has been checked against the full official text and, where the Act itself cannot settle a question, against live external sources. When we find an error — including our own — we correct it at the source and keep the reasoning, rather than papering over it. Open judgement calls are flagged as open instead of silently resolved.
