Privacy

What we collect, and when

Browsing: nothing personal. Reading this site requires no account and sets no cookies. We use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first, EU-based service that records aggregate page statistics without cookies, fingerprinting, or personal identifiers. We cannot identify you from it and do not try.

Email alerts (if you sign up): your email address and which alert you asked for. Nothing else. Stored in a database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Used solely to send the alerts you requested; every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Contact form (if you write to us): the name, email, organisation and message you submit. Stored in the same EU-hosted database and used only to read and reply to your message.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share it with sponsors or advertisers. We do not enrich it against third-party sources, run advertising pixels, or track you across other websites. Sponsorship on this site buys labelled placement, never audience data.

Legal basis and retention

We process signup emails on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. We process contact messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. Signup data is kept while your subscription is active; contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation, then periodically cleared.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. Use the contact form — deletion requests are actioned promptly and are not argued with. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Processors we rely on

Hosting and delivery by Vercel; database (signups and contact messages) by Supabase, hosted in the EU; aggregate analytics by Simple Analytics (EU). Each processes data only on our instructions.
