PUBLISHED ≠ PRESUMPTION OF CONFORMITY

A standard published by CEN-CENELEC grants nothing by itself. Only citation in the OJEU (a later Commission step) triggers the Art. 40 presumption of conformity. None have reached that yet. Fallback if standards fail: common specifications (Art. 41).

HONEST UNCERTAINTY

The total count of AI Act standards is genuinely disputed (~10 to 40+ claimed) and article-mapping is unofficial until OJEU citation. This table shows intended coverage per CEN-CENELEC project scopes. ISO/IEC 42001 alone does not satisfy Art. 17 — that's why prEN 18286 exists.
