PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY — ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION, NOT THE OFFICIAL TEXT

Where necessary, the Commission may require a general-purpose AI model provider to bring the model into compliance, to apply mitigation measures when an evaluation reveals serious, substantiated systemic-risk concerns, or to restrict, withdraw or recall the model. The AI Office may first hold a structured dialogue. If the provider offers binding commitments to address a systemic risk, the Commission may accept them and close the matter.
