Before taking part in real-world testing outside a sandbox, each subject must give free, informed consent, having received clear information on the test's purpose, duration, possible inconvenience and their rights. Subjects may refuse or withdraw at any moment without penalty or explanation, and can ask for the system's predictions or decisions to be reversed or disregarded. The consent must be dated, documented, and a copy handed to the subject or their representative.
