PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY — ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION, NOT THE OFFICIAL TEXT

A high-risk system's provider must affix the CE marking to show it conforms to the Act, placing it visibly and durably on the system or, where that is impractical, on its packaging or documentation. Digitally supplied systems use an accessible digital marking. Where a notified body was involved, its identification number accompanies the marking. If other Union law also requires CE marking, the single marking signals compliance with those rules as well.
