PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY — ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION, NOT THE OFFICIAL TEXT

The Commission ensures that notified bodies active in AI conformity assessment coordinate through a sectoral group, so their approaches stay aligned. Each notifying authority must see that the bodies it has notified take part in that group, directly or through representatives. The Commission also arranges for notifying authorities to exchange knowledge and best practice among themselves.
