PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY — ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION, NOT THE OFFICIAL TEXT

The Commission builds and maintains a central EU database where providers or their authorised representatives register Annex III high-risk systems, and also systems they classified as non-high-risk under Article 6(3); public-authority deployers add their own section. Most entries are public, searchable and machine-readable, and personal data is limited to those responsible for registration. Real-world testing records and law-enforcement-sensitive fields stay accessible only to market surveillance authorities and the Commission unless consent is given.
