COMPETENT AUTHORITY

Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT); Innovation Agency Lithuania (notifying)

Lithuania has formally designated the Communications Regulatory Authority (Lietuvos Respublikos ryšių reguliavimo tarnyba, RRT) as its main market-surveillance authority and single point of contact, and appears on the Commission's notified list. Innovation Agency Lithuania holds the notifying-authority function and is required to create and supervise the national AI regulatory sandbox.

Member States designate their notifying authority and market-surveillance authority under Article 70; the Commission publishes the consolidated single-point-of-contact list. Designation across the Union remains uneven — we track each state's status rather than presenting a uniform picture that does not exist.
